Creator Compliance Checklist
Last updated 1 June 2026 · IdeaForge · IdeaForge85@gmail.com
The Creator Compliance Checklist runs automatically every time you publish or update a bundle sales page. A bundle only goes live when every item passes. Failed items are handled under the enforcement ladder in the Acceptable Use Policy.
Account setup
- Stripe-hosted payout account connected.
- Identity verified by Stripe.
- Terms of Service, policies and the Creator Agreement accepted.
Content ownership
- You confirm you own or license everything in the bundle.
- No copied or unlicensed material (for example book text, lyrics, courses or other brands' products).
Listing quality
- The description accurately reflects the contents.
- Every product is complete and substantial.
- Misleading or broken listings are blocked.
Pricing and discounts
- Price fits the Starter (£4.99 to £9.99), Pro (£14.99 to £24.99) or Studio (£29.99 to £49.99) tier.
- Discount codes are percentage-only, with optional expiry and usage limits.
- No attempt to take payment outside IdeaForge, and no links, emails or phone numbers in the listing.
Legal and safety
- No illegal, harmful, abusive or fraudulent content.
- No malware or deceptive files. All files are PDFs built by IdeaForge.
Marketplace behaviour
- Harassment, abuse and fraud are monitored across reviews, disputes and payments, and incidents are logged for admin review.
Technical compliance
- Every PDF builds, opens and downloads.
- Bundles with missing or corrupted files are blocked.
How failures are treated
- Missing setup items (payouts, identity, legal acceptance, ownership confirmation, price tier) simply stop publishing until you fix them.
- Minor issues such as a thin product, an overstated description or contact details lead to a Level 1 warning.
- Misleading listings are Level 2.
- Copyright infringement, fraud, fee bypass and harmful or illegal content are Level 3.
- Critical illegal content is Level 4.
