This Cookie Policy explains how IdeaForge uses cookies and similar technologies, in line with the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) and UK GDPR.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small files stored on your device by your browser. Similar technologies include local storage.

2. Strictly necessary cookies (always on)

  • access_token and refresh_token: keep you signed in securely. They are http-only and expire after 15 minutes and 7 days.
  • Cookie preference: stored in your browser's local storage to remember your cookie choice.
  • Stripe: when you go to checkout, Stripe sets cookies on its own pages to process payments and prevent fraud.
  • Sales page channel: when you open a creator's sales page, your browser's session storage notes how you arrived (for example a WhatsApp share link or Instagram). It holds no personal data, is deleted when you close the tab, and only feeds anonymous visit and sale counts for the creator.

These are needed for the Service to work, so they don't need consent.

If you click "Accept all", we use analytics cookies from our platform analytics provider (PostHog) to understand how the website is used and improve it. They are not used for advertising. If you choose "Essential only", they are not set.

4. How long cookies last

Your cookie choice is remembered for 12 months, then we ask again. Analytics cookies expire after 12 months. Sign-in cookies expire as described above.

5. Changing your choice

You can change your choice at any time with the "Cookie settings" link in the footer. You can also delete cookies in your browser settings.
