Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated 1 June 2026 · IdeaForge · IdeaForge85@gmail.com

This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) sets out what you may and may not do on IdeaForge. It applies to every user, creator, team member and buyer, and to everything you generate, publish, sell or post, including reviews.

1. You must not create, publish or sell content that

  • is illegal in the UK or where it is sold, or helps someone commit a crime (for example instructions for weapons, explosives, drugs, hacking, malware, fraud, forged documents or money laundering);
  • sexualises children or involves child sexual abuse material in any form;
  • promotes terrorism or violent extremism;
  • harasses, threatens, bullies or incites hatred or violence against any person or group;
  • infringes copyright, trade marks or other rights, including copying books, courses, lyrics or other paid material, or selling someone else's product as your own;
  • is deceptive or fraudulent, including fake guarantees of income or results, fake credentials, fake reviews, pyramid schemes or bait-and-switch listings;
  • gives dangerous medical, legal or financial advice presented as professional fact;
  • contains malware, hidden scripts or deceptive files.

2. You must not

  • ask buyers to pay outside IdeaForge or otherwise try to avoid platform fees;
  • misuse payouts, launder money, make sales to yourself or manipulate reviews, discount codes or refunds;
  • open accounts to avoid a suspension, or share accounts to avoid plan limits;
  • attack, overload, scrape or try to break the security of the Service;
  • abuse, threaten or harass creators, buyers or our team, including in reviews and disputes;
  • open dishonest disputes or chargebacks.

3. How we monitor

We use automated checks, including keyword screening and AI review, on generation requests, bundle publishing and updates, reviews, disputes and payment events. Automated action is only taken for clear and obvious breaches. Anything else is logged for human review.

4. Enforcement ladder

  • Level 1, Minor: an automatic warning, and the affected bundle can't be published until the issue is corrected.
  • Level 2, Moderate: publishing is paused for 7 days, affected bundles are unpublished, and they must pass the Creator Compliance Checklist before selling again. The incident is logged.
  • Level 3, Serious: the creator account is suspended immediately, all bundles are unpublished, new sales and payouts are blocked until the issue is resolved, and an admin must review it.
  • Level 4, Critical: the account is frozen immediately, all bundles are unpublished, discount codes are switched off and payouts are blocked. An admin reviews it and may confirm permanent termination, remove all bundles, block the network or device used, and report the account to Stripe and the authorities where required.

Repeated breaches at the same level within 90 days move up one level. Buyers who already bought a product keep access to their downloads.

5. Funds

IdeaForge never holds creator funds. When payouts are blocked, no new sales are taken, and any balance already in a creator's Stripe account stays under Stripe's control and is handled under Stripe's rules.

6. Appeals

If you think an action was a mistake, use "Appeal this decision" under Account standing in your Profile (or on the sign-in page if your account is frozen). You can appeal each penalty once, at any level. A person will review it and email you the outcome. If we find it was wrong, we will reverse it, restore your account and bundles, and remove the incident from your record.

7. Reporting

To report content that breaks this policy, email IdeaForge85@gmail.com with the page link and the reason.
