Buyer Protection Policy

Last updated 1 June 2026 · IdeaForge · IdeaForge85@gmail.com

IdeaForge's Buyer Protection Policy protects people who buy bundles on IdeaForge from misleading, defective, fraudulent, harmful or illegal digital products.

1. What we check before a bundle is sold

  • Accuracy: the description must match the real contents. Misleading descriptions, inaccurate previews and bait-and-switch listings are blocked.
  • Quality: every PDF is built and opened to check it is complete, works and downloads. Corrupted, missing or very thin files are blocked.
  • Legitimacy: stolen, unlicensed or illegal content is blocked, and creators must confirm they own the rights.
  • Fraud and safety: scams, deceptive marketing, harmful or abusive content and attempts to take payment off the platform are blocked and lead to enforcement.

2. What you can claim

Within 14 days of purchase you can report a bundle that is:

  • missing files, corrupted or won't open;
  • clearly incomplete;
  • misleading, or not as described;
  • harmful or illegal.

3. How disputes are resolved

  • Our AI reviews your claim instantly, with an automated check of the files.
  • If the defect is clear, you are refunded straight away.
  • If it isn't clear, the creator is asked to respond and has 3 days to do so.
  • If the creator doesn't reply in time, you are refunded automatically.
  • If the creator replies, we review again. Clear cases are decided automatically; anything still unclear is decided by an IdeaForge admin.
  • You'll get an email at each step.

4. Consequences for creators

Upheld disputes are fed into the enforcement ladder in our Acceptable Use Policy: minor defects lead to a warning and a required fix, misleading listings are unpublished, and serious or critical breaches lead to suspension, blocked payouts or termination.

5. Your statutory rights

This policy is in addition to your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, which says digital content must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described.
