Creator Agreement
Last updated 1 June 2026 · IdeaForge · IdeaForge85@gmail.com
This Creator Agreement applies when you set up payouts or publish a bundle sales page on IdeaForge. It adds to the Terms of Service, Acceptable Use Policy, Buyer Protection Policy and Creator Compliance Checklist.
1. Your role
You are the seller of the bundles you publish, and the contract of sale is between you and the buyer. You are responsible for your listings, the accuracy of your descriptions, and for paying any taxes due on your income.
2. Payouts through Stripe
- You must connect a payout account through Stripe's hosted onboarding (Stripe Connect Express) and complete Stripe's identity checks before you can publish.
- You also agree to the Stripe Connected Account Agreement, which includes the Stripe Services Agreement.
- Each sale is paid by Stripe to your connected account, less IdeaForge's 10% platform fee. Stripe's payout timing and rules apply.
- IdeaForge never holds your funds. If your payouts are blocked under our Acceptable Use Policy, new sales stop and any balance stays under Stripe's control.
3. Pricing and discounts
- Bundle prices must sit in one of our tiers: Starter £4.99 to £9.99, Pro £14.99 to £24.99, or Studio £29.99 to £49.99.
- Discount codes must be percentage-based, and may have an expiry date and usage limit.
- You must not ask buyers to pay outside IdeaForge or try to avoid the platform fee.
4. Content ownership and licence
- You confirm that you own, or have all necessary rights to, everything in your bundles and listings, and that it does not infringe anyone's rights.
- You give buyers a personal, non-exclusive licence to download and use the products for their own use, unless your listing clearly states a different licence.
- You give IdeaForge the licence described in the Terms to host, check, display and deliver your bundles.
5. Quality and buyer protection
- Your bundles must be complete, work properly, download correctly and match their description.
- You must answer buyer disputes within 3 days. If you don't, the buyer is refunded automatically and the refund is reversed from your payout.
- Refunds issued under the Buyer Protection Policy are deducted from your share of the sale through Stripe.
6. Compliance and enforcement
Every time you publish or update a bundle, it is checked against the Creator Compliance Checklist. Breaches are handled under the enforcement ladder in the Acceptable Use Policy.
7. Ending this agreement
You can stop selling at any time by unpublishing your bundles. We may end this agreement under the Terms of Service. Sections on refunds, chargebacks, ownership and liability continue after it ends.
